The V-CONNECT Dairy Feeder – the feed management system from Bernard van Lengerich Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG (BvL) – has repeatedly proven to be a competent digital helper in the stable. Product management has now added another practical feature to the application: In addition to Wi-Fi, the feed and weighing data can now be transmitted between the transceiver box on the feed mixer wagon and a mobile end device via Bluetooth. 

Users can therefore choose whether to connect their end device via Wi-Fi – which is even possible with multiple mobile devices – or a Bluetooth connection, independent of network availability. A stable connection is thus assured at all times. The separate Bluetooth connection also allows parallel use of the Dairy Feeder cloud via the local Wi-Fi connection. Another advantage is the elimination of a SIM card, which would involve additional costs.
