Stronger foreign body magnet for the feed mixer augers in the product accessories program

Foreign bodies in the feed mixture are not only a nuisance but can also seriously endanger the health of the animals and damage the feeding equipment. In feeding technology, therefore, magnets are often used, on which metallic foreign bodies collect. So they can no longer reach the animals via feed. Bernard van Lengerich Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG (BvL) has been offering these special foreign body magnets for a long time, which are mounted directly on the mixing augers in the feed mixer. A stronger foreign body magnet for the feed mixer augers has recently been added to the product accessories program of the Emsland family company. Its magnetic field is more than twice as strong as that of its predecessor thanks to two integrated, con-tinuous magnetic plates.

This makes it particularly effective in use. In addition, the magnet is very robust and waterproof thanks to a welded stainless steel housing. Incidentally, this does not affect the ease of movement of the mixing auger.
