POWERSHIFT 3X

To ensure maximum performance in day-to-day use, BvL relies on an automatic powershift transmission. This enables powerful, safe start-up via the transmission’s neutral gear, even when the mixer is heavily loaded. Intelligent gear-shifting prevents the drivetrain from being overloaded. The auger speed can be adjusted to the optimum range during operation.

The result: a smooth, efficient start-up and mixing process, high operational reliability, and the robustness and durability typical of BvL.

Automatic 3+1 Powershift transmission

The significantly reduced starting torque noticeably reduces the load on the tractor drive components and the entire system, thereby minimising wear and tear.

Its simple operation and high level of user-friendliness make this Powershift transmission technology particularly efficient and practical. Power is transmitted entirely by mechanical means, making it extremely robust, low-maintenance and efficient.

How it works

  • Starting the tractor’s PTO drive
  • Shifting up from neutral into first gear
  • Shifting the gearbox from first to second gear for mixing
  • (in the event of an overload, the system automatically reduces speed so as not to interrupt the mixing process)
  • (optional: stopping the mixing process after a specified time – MIXER CONTROL)
  • Serving the food in the first or second course
  • Emptying of residual quantities in third gear
